SOCIETY OF FIRE PROTECTION ENGINEERS - ROCKY MOUNTAIN CHAPTER

ACADEMIC SCHOLARSHIP

The Rocky Mountain Chapter (RMC) of the Society of Fire Protection Engineers (SFPE) actively supports students seeking a career in Fire Protection Engineering and has awarded an academic scholarship since 2014.  Each year, the Chapter evaluates its ability to contribute to the next generation of FPEs and we are proud to have been able to fund this cause each year from a humble beginning of $1,000 to our current total this past year of $6,000.  These funds are made possible in no small part by our Corporate Chapter Sponsors and other donations.

Congratulations to:

Hunter Gildart of Cal Poly San Luis Obispo

Zachary Hall of Oklahoma State University

as our 2020 scholarship recipients

The primary goal of these scholarships is to promote, encourage and support students in the Western U.S. states who are pursuing a career in the field of Fire Protection Engineering.  The scholarship application period typically runs January 1 through April 1 with awards in early May.  Please check back in early 2021 for an update and next year's application.
